ABOUT THE VIEWER LIMITATIONS

The reason that you need your own domain for the full package is that uploading a lot of images can take up a lot of space on the server.  At present the free version of the package must be limited to just a few images because our server would be overloaded in no time with the amount of people using the viewer.  Although we say that having your own viewer on your own domain gives you at least 200 uploads, that is only true as far as the server limitations apply.  Of course there is a limit, but it should normally allow you plenty of uploads, possibly a lot more than 200, maybe thousands.  It really depends on the size of the images you upload rather than the number.

Having your own domain can be quite an advantage.  You would be able to choose a name that appeals to you and then use it as your email address.  Much nicer than joe.bloggs@hotmail.net or whatever free email you might use. You can also use the domain for publishing your own website at no extra cost.  The hosting package will include most of the features that are needed for a good quality website.
